Decatur to UIUC to Minneapolis to Cincinnati back to Minneapolis to Lafayette to west Lafayette. Crazy that I’ve been in greater Lafayette almost longer than Decatur.

Damn that was fun. Sat next to a family with a Purdue freshman who grew up cheering for the Illini and had on his orange and blue. My grumpy 15yo was smiling and high fiving all night. Got choked up twice screaming I-L-L. Just damn fun.

Ironic that almost all of West Lafayette is currently under a 24 hour boil advisory?

Pretty hard to justify Illinois out of state tuition. Couldn’t even get her to apply (she’s a bit of a contrarian). I actually think she might end up as a spartan. I’m not sure which is worse.

I live in West Lafayette. Daughter is a senior in HS and thinking about Purdue. Bought tickets for this one right after the Michigan win. I NEED this win so badly. Will be there with husband and son with my Illini gear on and shouting I-L-L from the rafters.

I live in West Lafayette and our paper is a sister paper of the IndyStar who broke this whole mess. I remember reading the very first couple of articles about coaches in USAG. But past that I don’t remember much coverage until the last couple of weeks either.
