Yes, and my point isn't about being upset for the UCLA and NW games (at that point, it is what it is). It's just so obvious that the mad outrage following Oregon caused the team's collapse, far more than any other factor. We all saw it unfold in real time. ... It's a classic example of why the...

Neither BB or BU's programs have had to deal with the public scrutinty Penn State faced after their Oregon loss. As soon as that game ended, their fan base turned into a frenzy, calling for Franklin to be fired. The pundits also followed suit. The season was basically deemed a failure in week...

Dead serious - if Penn State had this schedule last year, I think they're going 12-0. Their team fell apart due to public scrutinty and horrid media narratives, for losing to Oregon. Another "big game" loss, the media went crazy, and their locker room broke. They played toe to toe with Oregon...

I've genuinely never seen an easier Big Ten schedule than Penn State. They can be completely average and just walk into 9-3 (at worst). And if you're a great team, you're 12-0 with very little competition. Just gross.

Garland is set to have the keys to the show in LA. Unless they trade him, that's not changing anytime soon.

The reason we're seeing Morillo get passed up by Williams, is because he's a bad athlete and a bad shooter. You can't be BOTH and play at Illinois. There's numerous examples: Kylan Boswell: not a good shooter, but a good athlete Ty Rodgers: complete non shooter, but a good athlete Andrej: not...

LaMelo actually makes his teammates better. I’d argue having Ant off the team would help your point, not Ball (not necessarily that it’d make them a better team).

He can play Small Forward or Power Forward. Whichever the team needs. It’s called versatility.

If anything it shows why depth is important. Their frontcourt still consists of the Ratliff twins, Cofie, and Christian Collins. If Illinois lost Tomi (starting center), they’d be in a lot more trouble. Perhaps much of the same for Michigan with Thiam.

Mirkovic being the highest usage player does not put our offense in the best position to succeed. That needs to be Vaaks. He’s the most talented shooter, handler, and passer on the team. My guess is him being gone for his national team has hurt his “offseason buzz” talk.

This OU play against Auburn last year is insane. The guy who’s walking off catches the touchdown pass. SEC should not have gotten 5 teams.

Well, we will play them this year. He's a very good defender, and likely the starting SF at Duke.

We were in the mix for a big ten title. - Illinois had to win against OSU and Michigan - Purdue had to lose at Wisconsin If those were to happen, our final game at Mackey would’ve been for a share of the Big Ten (one game behind PU in the standings).
