The hope is that they’re back, obviously, but if we’re talking personal favorites as replacements then Mennenga would be an incredible hire. Would take a lot.

He could also trade more money per year to keep good assistants for a longer contract that ties season success to larger bonuses. Success leads to more revenue for the program. The longer contract gives him more security. The elite assistants increases the odds of success. It’s certainly a model.

Yeah, they definitely are. My real question though is, if Holmgren is going there, why would Kessler also go there? I thought the reason Kessler was leaving was because he wasn't getting much playing time on UNC. If Holmgren is there, then I see Kessler still being somewhat limited in his minutes.
