Snoozing on Duke. I don’t think John Blackwell is a plug and play superstar. He can be an efficient scorer as long as he and one other guy are getting all the shots. Think he could get lost in the Duke shuffle and have a down year.

Shot a 91 today and I thought about Stefan Vaaks a lot

After a 30 second clip, I am also all in on Ethan Brown. This guy can run the point. Perfect Underwood positionless basketball guy.

Not to mention: this is Club basketball. It’s an exaggerated YMCA men’s league.

This is an incorrect take but let’s pretend it is not. No shame against the most athletic HS players on the planet. Wagler would not have stood out in that game athletically.

Doomers, please do yourself a favor and watch this Vaaks vid. He’s even better than I thought. Incredible athlete. Illinois is not going to miss a beat next season. They are better.

Those of us watching the Jordan Game, Quentin with a filthy move, lay-up. The doom squad is going to be really disappointed how good this kid is.

Vaaks was almost as productive statistically THIS year on a bad team. The homerism is off the charts in here. You guys realize Stefan Vaaks is going to play against Wagler in the NBA some day correct?

I realize Keaton Wagler is the best basketball player that ever lived and you could only replace him with a mutant cyborg, but maybe, just maybe a player that’s older, an inch taller, 30 pounds heavier that scored 16ppg as a Freshman on a bad team will make a pretty big impact.

There are a lot of posts that I like, however I do not have a like button. Just know I like the pro- guard/roster posts for next season.

This. The continuity combined with the progression and elite additions make this team more dangerous. People just know that Wagler is a lotto pick so they’re defaulting.
