Just read an article at SB Nation about OA, very positive. However there was a comment about Alan Huss being the temporary assistant until OA arrives. Anyone know what that comment means?

There are many NYC residents that have migrated from Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Jamica. so, it isn't surprising that there are many Carribean basketball players. Many private high schools in the NYC area use contacts in the Carribean to bring in young men to play basketball.

Hunt Trucking and Tyson Foods are located in Arkansas. Jerry Jones is also an alum. I don't know how many of the Walton clan donate to U of Arkansas, but some of them are donating to other colleges.

Moving Alexander to a non recruiting assistant position would kill any chance of Alexander getting a HC job.

EIU football turnaround came in the spring of '78 when Mudra was hired. He took what he had and won the DII championship that fall. EIU finally hired a head coach that knew what he was doing.

Looks like Eric Wolford and Tommy Rees will be looking for new jobs since neither was retained by DeBoer. FootballScoop listed the support staff under Saban and there were over 40.

A couple of things from FootballScoop. Bama expects to name their new coach by the end of the week (tomorrow?). Top names are Rees, Drinkwitz, Locksley, and DeBoer. It they are moving that fast, I expect it to be Rees, but I hope it's Drinkwitz. New head coach at ULM demoted Koenning from DC...
