For those in the know, are we seeing more, less, or about average the number of transfers out vs. similar size and placed programs? Just curious, thanks.
IMO, Kansas didn't look like a #1 ranked team and it wasn't because of our less than stellar play at times. If that was their best, I'm thinking they fall in the rankings pretty quickly.
Same old same old, half our shots from 3 and we're lousy 3 point shooters most every evening. More turnovers than assists and then toss in some poor defense and geez, I can't figure out how we lost. We're at the end of February and so this isn't going to change. We're just an inconsistent...
Tickled for the win but you can't have 17 turn overs vs. 9 assists and shoot 25 % from the arc and consider yourself on the way to the next level. I was hoping we could turn this around but I guess it's not going to happen at this point.
Over the last 12 games, RJ is shooting 13% from 3's, while chucking up almost 40 of them. I'm sure he's a great kid but I would ask him to not take any more 3's and figure out a different way to help us win games.
I can't believe half our shots are 3's and we're hitting 14% of them, and still leading. If I were Undy, I would have them running laps if they jack up a 3.
Not sure I can remember an Illini team with worse chemistry. Someone feel free to jog my memory, but in the end, these kids don't even look like they're having fun.
17 turnovers and allowing 15 offensive rebounds, you're likely to get beaten by any decent team.
That being said, thank you boys for a league championship and the memories. It's nice to be relevant again.
