We’re talking about a game in Evanston, not Ann Arbor or Columbus. Evanston! This is going to be a hard rest of the season for a good group of young players who were really fun to watch prior to the return of TS. Beware what you wish for!

A whole lot of ugly chants today, none of which are the kind a team can rally around. This isn’t an “us against the world” situation. This is a distraction, no doubt. Beware what you wish for!

Gotta think about the long game at this point. MSU bested Baylor, and Illinois has a win against MSU, so a Baylor win here would be more appealing.

Considering Marquette’s warts are showing (lost 3 of 5; 2-3 in conference; only 1 away victory), and Illinois lost to Marquette at home, and Marquette’s big win is against Kansas, yeah, Kansas’ loss does impact Illinois negatively.

Yeah, definitely a poor call. I know Milroe can’t throw the ball, but you can’t expect to just smash it down Michigan’s front like that.

That’s just standard talk. Many of the players who’ve opted out of bowl games had initially indicated they would play.

Yep! Nix’s involvement in the Fiesta Bowl was a pleasant surprise, bringing the number of Heisman finalists playing in bowl games to 2 of 4.

Edit: Bo Nix did start in today’s bowl game, so it’s 2 of the 4 finalists.

Of the 4 Heisman finalists, only 1 will have played in a bowl game.
