Milwaukee in the World Series. What a great matchup this would have been with the Sox against the Brewers. Two underdogs battling it out for Baseball Supremacy in front of the whole World. The South Siders vs. The North Shore. And building a bigger rivalry in the future. Not to mention the big...

You touched upon THE most important thing about the White Sox future. What happened on those last two game nights at Rate Field. Sox fans were wild and passionate. Off-the-charts crazy energy. This took many by surprise, including Sox players. A few said they had never experienced anything like...

All good observations. Sox fans have been way too disappointed for way too long (generations!) and have settled for less way too long. We deserve better. We invest our time and money and passion in this (maybe we shouldn’t, but that’s what fans do). While I am pleased (but not totally...

One more thing to add. One White Sox player played with pride and passion – Sam Antonacci. He is the sole hero on this team in the playoffs that has nothing to be ashamed of. Maybe he is the leader going forward that the Sox lack.

21 Strike Outs. In 9 innings. That’s 7 whole innings of baseball down the drain. In the biggest game the Sox have played in 21 years – and one of the biggest games the Sox have EVER played in for over 120 years – the Sox played one of their worst games of ALL TIME. Seriously. At least, with the...

It's hard to imagine a worse scenario than how the Sox played in these last two home games before hungry and enthusiastic Sox fans. Cleveland went out there and got the job done while the Sox wilted badly. Nobody stood up to take charge and lead the Sox when they needed it most. Who is the team...

When -- not if, please -- the Sox beat Cleveland and move on to the next round(s)... they will have some intriguing matchup possibilities. First off, Tampa Bay. The Sox would be playing in the City/Region that The Owner threatened to move the Sox franchise to almost 40 year ago. Once (not if...

The Sox have been playing well lately so I guess they were due to play a stinker. Just too bad it had to be in front of such an eager and enthusiastic crowd with so much on the line. But the young Sox get another chance and should not seem so over-anxious. Sox could not manufacture hits...

Venable was a rock-star hire. He is responsible for so much of the Sox success... along with the General Manager. Those big trades the Sox made brought in much of the young talent we now see. Going forward it will be a matter of keeping all these guys together. They can start by re-signing the...

This next Sox game is the biggest Sox game in 21 years. The atmosphere will be electric and the expectations from Sox fans will be sky-high. Given all that... I hope that the pressure of the moment does not get to these young Sox. So far they have let nothing bother them. But the next game is...

This magic White Sox season goes on. Four playoff game wins in a row. “Don’t Stop Now, Boys...”

One field, two teams. And a game that was not as close as the final score looked. One team plays nowhere near their ability and decides to spend the day trying to make as many mistakes as possible in every aspect of the game. And a second team who got sick of losing and says we’re not having...

The White Sox have picked up some new fans along the way around the country – at least for a while. Media has been playing up how the Sox had those really bad seasons in a row only to find themselves now competitive and thriving in just one year of a fast turnaround. This is an interesting...

Chase Gregory Meidroth. He’s Nellie Fox with long-ball POWER. What a needed blast. Sox went down to H-Town and played with poise and determination in these Houston games. They did not look like a young team just feeling their way along. They played like winners. And they played well in Houston...

Maybe unexpected... or maybe not. The Sox DO have a rather famous and influential fan out there. Here's what he says... “Sport can truly become a school of life, where all can learn that abundance does not come from victory at any cost, but from sharing, from respecting others and from the joy...
