This absolutely stinks. I feel so bad for this kid if he truly wanted to play here. I hope he torches us if we ever play them, we deserve it. Ayo certainly isn't to blame either, this is just the stink of Chicago.

I think Pickett is out even if he wants back in at this point. If we get Tilmon and Badocchi, I just don't see us even talking to Pickett again. I could be wrong, but I honestly think he is out of the picture for good.

KSU will never scare me with basketball recruits, at least with Weber at the helm. I'd be much more worried with a blue blood visit. Hopefully Walker and BU can get him on board... we could actually be really good in the next 1-2 years with Smith, especially if the rest of the class stays together.

I don't see why not, just because they are hired on doesn't mean Walker has to stop coaching the NIT. The new coach could start working on talking to recruits and whatnot and have a team meeting after the NIT. Will we do this? Idk.

Seriously.. we should have a coach hired and introduced by Tuesday mid-day. If we don't, then people should start to worry. Whitman is just waiting for the week long process to end.

I thought Keatts team fit the style and intensity that I would be looking for in a new coach. He is obviously a fall back guy at the moment with the likes of Bennett, Archie, and Marshall out there, but I liked his style. Exactly. I believe JW has the ability to spend a larger amount on "the right guy" but will spend considerably less if we can't get someone in the top tier. Just because we can pay higher, doesn't mean that we will. If we spend over 3 million on a coach, it should be someone we are all excited over.
