Man would I love to watch Frank Williams play again. Not sure I truly appreciated his talent to the extent I should have when he played.

I would argue that the overemphasis on money and revenue absolutely makes it about the fans. If we don’t attend/watch then the money dries up. I don’t like that it is about money these days but fans absolutely matter more now than ever.

Finally some evidence to squash the debate. Point guards to not throw down double pump dunks. Now we are screwed with no point guard.

At the risk of being Debbie Downer, I just don’t get too hyped about commitments these days. It has gotten to the point that it seems akin to “I’m leaning toward going to” said school rather than true commitment. More so in football than in other sports.

Totally forgot that. I guess I meant more the current version of BU because I feel he has reinvented himself to some degree during his time here. Wish Leron would have stayed!

Lucas Johnson was also a beloved Illini player and they have very comparable contributions statistically. I would argue that any disappointment with Ty is more a result of higher expectations and injury than with contributions. I will be rooting hard for him.

I am beyond thrilled about next year’s team, both in our returnees and our incoming freshmen class. Make no mistake though, there are going to be new guys running the offense and to expect anyone to be KW will be setting ourselves up for disappointment. I am excited to see how this group comes...

I think the sophomore version of Brandon Lee is absolutely playable. For that matter, I thought the freshman version was too.
