I could see Ty moving down a level, tearing it up for two years, and returning to the UI to join the staff in some capacity. He would be a great addition as a mentor.

Got to watch the Illini in person for the first time in fall, 1969, with Mike Price, Fred Miller, Greg Jackson, Randy Crews, et al. Nine players from Illinois, three from Indiana. Tallest one was 6’8”. All under the watchful eye of coach Harv Schmidt. Times sure have changed!

Does anyone have an idea where Wagner from St. Joe- Ogden might go, if not Illinois?

Recent News Gazette article noted that Mirk came here because he had played with Tomi, and wanted to to be his teammate again. I suspect if you lose Tomi you will lose Mirk. Hope not.
