A couple of things stood out to me in the first 2 games. I know these were exhibitions. Cincy's guards and Baylor's guards absolutely torched us. Our guards were out quicked by both teams. The offense is there but the defense is almost no existent [shades of last year] Baylor dominated the glass...

First game but 15 turnovers! No defense. Can't win natty without defense.

This team plays ugly. Defense dominated the Spartans the first 24 minutes then all hell broke loose. Illinois couldn't stop me [I m 80] in the 2nd half. Spartans completely dominated the field in the 2nd half. Only a stupid call by the Spartan coach allowed the Illini to get an undeserved win...

I think Wabbington and Pettigrew shock Illini nation and tell Brad yes we are coming!

Michigan State game may be Illini's last good chance for a win. Don't think they beat anyone after next Saturday.

Kaden Feagin has been a big bust. 250 # and a breeze of 5 mph and he will fall down. MSU has several injured players but beat the Illini 24-21. Illini are in a free fall-no defense, no offensive line, no coaching, no special teams

And that's exactly where this Illini team belongs "TOILET BOWL"

Pathetic. Reminds me of the Lovie Smith days! Giant step back. New defense coordinator but same old defense. Lunney's offense wasn't any better. Too many penalties at critical time. This group of players not championship material. Houser was horrible too. Tear it all own and start over. I am...

The Illini played a pretty good game overall. The offense seem to click, made some big play, passing game was good, running was fair. The defense, learned how to tackle and stopped the running game although SIU passing game made some big plays. Now that I have said all that this came against a...

I'm sorry but with this new NO TACKLE defense every team will be a problem

Going to be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG SEASON

This defense coach is no better than the one that left. The defense is worse than last year, poor tackling again.

Illini show up- Illinois 35 Duke 14

When you are a so called blue blood you get all the calls even the made up ones! Scum should be automatically eliminated from any playoff consideration immediately. Oklahoma will bury them!

This happens every friggin time they are suppose to do something good!
