He's pitching in the 9th inning of a 17-5 game. Wasn't good enough to pitch in the 6th yesterday. After 17 what's the over/under on Cubs' runs tomorrow? 2 1/2?

You can't convince me that Javier Asaad wouldn't help this pitching staff, at least in the bullpen. I know he had options but who are you trying to protect? Civale? Thielbar? Thornton? Maybe they knew they were going to DFA Milner, (for some reason), and had to keep Thielbar, a lefty.

The lead for home field in playoffs is down to 1 1/2 and dropping quickly.
