He did struggle. The "positive start" was an attempted joke because he made it 5 innings before getting hurt.

The question has become not IF the Cub starter that day will be hurt, it is now what inning he will be hurt. This was a positive start. He went 5 innings before the injury.

I was all for trading away draft capital for an established NHL'er but this seems like a serious overpay.
