1/27 Games

Every year there are teams where people are complaining that the analytics have them ranked so high. Iowa is one of those teams this year. Big opportunity for them to prove themselves.

The Hawkeyes have a good shot if they can turn it into a shootout. They did that in the first matchup, forcing 17 turnovers, but they couldn't hit their 3's in Mackey. If they can turn it into the same game, I have a feeling the 3s will be falling at home.

For Purdue it's a pretty big game since their upcoming stretch is brutal.

Purdue let the foot off the gas against Iowa last time....I expect a close game today. Think Ivey will be too much and they have no bigs to guard Edey

It must be an awful feeling to be a nebby fan and see Frost and Hoiberg as your FB and BB coaches........

Hoiberg seems like he just tells them to go 1 on 1 and hope for the best......So many ill timed passes and such porous defense..........Never been a fan of his and he seems to still be riding a couple good seasons at Iowa St . as his calling card......jmho

Some great games that may change the B1G standings:

6-2 Wisconsin at Nebraska

5-2 Ohio St. at Minnesota

5-3 Purdue at 4-4 Iowa

May the best teams lose!
Does that mean I have to cheer for Iowa? Ugh, sorry, but I just can't do it. We'll just have to punk Edey et al next time.

I didn't realize it; Wisconsin - Nebraska game is over. UW 73 UN 65.

Okay, it looks like we're tied with Wisconsin. 7-2

I think either OSU or Purdue loses and I wouldn't be shocked if both do. The gophers have some young guys that are improving and could pull it off tonight at home.

You're not wrong. The college game passed him by when the transfer portal came about. The former assistant that did all the dirty work when he was at ISU is back there now and winning. Fred, meanwhile, is just throwing darts at the wall
He's also not cheap. The contract situation with him is absurd.
