Wisconsin isn't very good. It's been ages since we beat them in basketball OR football, we better end that this year.

Penn State is better than usual/expected.

Northwestern is the same as usual and worse than expected.

I wouldn't throw dirt on him just yet. What he did the last two seasons was pretty impressive no matter how you slice it.

That said.....this year is shaping up to be a fall to reality for Wisconsin fans. All the streaks that Bo had compiled is going to come to a startling end this year.


However......there's not a single senior playing meaningful minutes on this Wisconsin roster. Presumably Happ will go pro, but they will return everybody else. So, like us, if they improve over the course of the season, they have a chance to be pretty good next year.

It hurts them that their prized recruit bolted, though.

The proof is below:

Per 24/7 the last 4 years:

Wisky is averaging 63.5 class ranking with 2015-2018 being in order 44,104,34,72.

Illinois is averaging 59.5 class ranking with 2015-2018 being in order 15,110,29,84.

Now imagine where the ILLINI would be with the same success that Wisconsin has had the past 10 years vs the dumpster fires we have endured? One of the reasons I think we can all assume our ILLINI will get back to where we want them to be.

Just shows some coaches have allure/draw for players to commit and want to get better...BO had it, he had that IT has a coach, the program had it under him. BU has IT and we will get better and our program will have it because of him as well.

Gard does not have it...the recruiting will keep dropping...:chief:
