I'm gonna sound crazy, but I don't think Miles Bridges is going to have the sort of success year 1 many have projected. He has insane physical tools, but his skill need to catch up. Bookmark this post for later (when I look like a total idiot).
Bridges does not have to be as dominant. Have in mind that Langford and Ward did not even play.
Pretty impressive rebounding numbers for a player on the bench then.

MSU has a lot of high caliber players and it is quite impressive that Bridges started with such dominant performance, but he does not have to maintain that level for MSU to be very good, or even for himself to make it to the NBA.
Box score shows Ward with 19 points but No Langford ?

Sparty will be fine, but I think Bridges is going to struggle to find ways to score in the half court.
Not sure what thread to put this in, but why the heck is Rhode Island ranked? They were 17-15 last year and their coach is below .500 in four seasons, and I see no indication of any big time recruits. What the heck?![]()
They have a lot of returning players, lots of scoring, plus they get EC Matthews back after sitting last year due to injury. Very talented player, very consistent, that is their Malcolm Hill. Matthews and Martin are projected NBA draft picks, although most likely second rounders.
