Yeah Minnesota is going to eat our lunch, but we'll get there in a year or so.

Good game!

It's disappointing that Nunn is gone but as we all know actions have consequences. Especially with well what's going on now in the country if we had kept Nunn on the team it would have looked really bad. God knows Illinois has had some really unfortunate events with its players/kids like with what happened with Jamar Smith and Brandon Caldwell. Say what you will about Groce he had integrity and principles. I want to win! Believe me I so badly want another Fab Five (2004-2005) Illinois year, but if winning means throwing away integrity and values then it's not worth it. That said I wish Nunn the best.

Iowa State loses to Milwaukee 74-56. Like I said before they lost a lot so I'm not surprised Missouri beat them. Starting the season 0-2 ouch. They desperately need THT and Conditt.

36 points on Friday and 24 tonight for Kendrick Nunn. I'm happy for him. It's really too bad that it didn't work out here.

Nunn was offered a sit out year but Melvin and he thought it was best to move on and that Kampe and Oakland were a good fit and boy so far it appears to be.

I am pretty sure he was dismissed after he pleaded guilty, it was not a one year suspension with the option to sit.

So legit... do we have a shot in the bragging rights game this year ?

Depending on how's Porter's hip injury that time and when does Tilmon get fouled out:D

It is a one game rivalry, so anything can happen in one game. But barring injuries, Missouri will go in as the clear favorite.

I'm personally a big believer in throwing out records, talent discrepancy, etc. in rivalry games. So much of it is emotion and heart, and those can do crazy things. Like Ob said, we should go into that game as dogs, but once you start playing, anything can happen.

Blake Harris, back up freshman point guard for mizzou went down with a knee injury yesterday. He hadn't gotten a ton of playing time thru two games but figures to be their best option moving forward for running the point. He is a true point guard and it will be interesting to see how serious the injury is.

Oof. Iowa State - not good this year.

And Montana over Pitt? Not good for them, either.

Boy, Kevin Stallings is off to a really rough start at Pitt. They went 4-14 in conference play last year, and now this.

I wonder if he regrets leaving Vandy.
