Wow LSU is bad. Really really bad.

Marshall was bringing in walk-on freshmen who weren't even sitting on the bench. They were sitting in the row of seats BEHIND the bench. And they were getting tick with 2 minutes to go.

I love Groce, but sometimes I really wish Marshall could be our coach. Such a great X's and O's guy. He just wins. I think he'd kill it in recruiting for a B1G school, too. His talent evaluation is top notch. Maybe he could do a mentorship program for Groce and then we'd have the best of all worlds. :thumb:

I agree. Marshall is a great coach.

Side note: I'll be sitting in that row of chairs right behind the bench on Tuesday night vs. NC St. Maybe if it's a blowout JG will throw me in the game. I've been out of college for 9 years, but I've still got 4 years of eligibility left!

VCU/Baylor right now on ESPN2. VCU looking good with the lead 40-34. Good chance to scout future Illini opponent.

Geebuz, Juwan Evans is just a penetration and scoring machine. Can't even imagine what we would look like with him running the show. Bilas just can't stop talking about him

One thing that does make me feel good about Evans doing so well is that Groce was in on him early. He has a good eye for PGs. If he can just get through this year I think Frazier is going to be really good.

This is why I want so badly for the team to perform well. I think Groce has finally gotten over the talent/recruiting hump with this class, and at length has landed a PG that fits his preferred mold.
