I enjoy his passion and energy that he has for the game. He can get a bit overwhelming at times but I can only wish that I have that much energy in my late 70s.

Also, watching this Illinois St. game and I have to say that their fanbase is not very good. The team is 18-4, 10-0 in the Valley and their stadium is maybe 2/3 full. Geez, go and support your good team....I know SIU's fans were always good and a rowdy bunch when SIU was good back in the day.

So Northwestern gets their doors blown off by a good Purdue team and we perceive that as a sign that we will lose by 40 in Evanston? Purdue beat them by one less point than they beat us by. Some of our fans need to be talked off the ledge. I'm glad Northwestern got exposed tonight for who they really are!
I hope our program rises again to the level where he can come to SFC to call one of our games beforw he retires. As annoying as he can be with his love affair of Duke/UNC, he does always speak very highly of Illinois when its brought up to him. He particularly loves to mention the 89 team!
They were without one of their top players and a role player. On top of that, Purdue shot lights out from 3, kinda like we did vs. Michigan. I don't think there's that big of a discrepancy between the 2 teams to be perfectly honest. It was just Purdue's night.
NU didn't get exposed lol. They barely lost to Notre Dame and Butler. They are a solid tournament team. Sorry to burst your bubble but you don't have to hate them.
Hopefully they continue to win games. It just means if we beat them it looks good on our resume. I was just glad to see that they are just as capable of getting run out of the gym by a good team as anybody else.
