2/4 Games

OSU with a huge advantage in that they don't need to play at UM nor Indiana and have won in Champaign. Holtmann can coach, they have now beaten 6 top 10 teams in a row.

I'm in my seventies. First time in my entire stinking life I root for Iowa - you know the rest!
Haha! True illini curse!

Iowa fans are irate. They are ready to run Fran out of town on a rail. How many uncontested threes were in that game?
They're probably more ticked at losing 3 of 4 and they're at a boiling point now. That's how our board was after the Ohio State beating we took. Some people wanted BUs head. Heck, at halftime of some of of our games, people are railing away on BU, then after we pull a game out...we're headed to the Final Four. This is normal fandom. We ALL know that the refs and the head coach are at fault for 100% of the losses around the country. Sports message boards are a great place for group therapy.

Minnesota reminds me of us in BU's first year. They look really good for stretches, but at the end of the game they struggle to make winning plays. They probably feel like they're incapable of winning on the road. And there are no easy solutions for getting them over this hump. They just need to keep practicing, playing hard, and trusting that the system will eventually turn these losses into wins. The frustration they are probably feeling right now is absolutely crushing.

Problem is that Richard Pitino is in his eighth year there.

Another Iowa loss and the same petulant child responses from their coach. If I was an alum, I would be completely embarrassed by him. If Fran could have taken the ball and gone home, I'm sure he would have! :shield:
