VCU with another miracle escape. Saturday they won in OT when St Bonnie was called for a T when their fans stormed the court too early. Tonight they are down 1 with seconds left and they got a charge called on GW by setting a pick on the guy defending a full court in bounds pass. Amazing.

Iowa trying to pull off an upset at the Barn.

The same call the refs wouldn't give us in the 89 Final 4 vs Michigan

I had a chance to see Cincy tonight vs. UCF. Tacko Fall(7'6") surprisingly gave them trouble with his ability to alter and block shots, rebounding, and dunking the all several times. But, Cincy did just enough to win by 10, setting them up for a showdown with SMU on Sunday.

Also, OK. State nearly came back, down by 11 pts. with about 2:30-3 mins. to go but Baylor survived by 3. Baylor played pretty solidly most of the game but just kind of let up at the end there and nearly lost because of it.

who was a 2 pt dog, ends up beating Arizona 68-43. Speak about over achieving or maybe it was Hurley's Arizona under achieving.

No! There are no irrational thoughts about that season. We were the best team that year and one of the greatest teams ever assembled. I still can't believe we didn't get a banner.

VCU has quietly built a good record. Our win looks better and better. If only it mattered at this point.

'85 Bears, '89 Illini, '16 Cubs in any order. It kills me that one did not finish the season like the others.
