Goofs aside, I'm having a blast with the various meta narratives this year. The Good: Moncada: K rate dropping and delivering on his promise in nearly every other realm. MLB Pipeline released their prospect rankings last week and he was back up to #1. Kopech: 51 K's in 35 IP at AA Birmingham. Turned 21 two weeks ago. I'm looking for him to be the top pitching prospect in baseball according to most publications at the halfway point. Dane Dunning: Had a comical line in Kannapolis (A). 1 ER over 4 starts. 33K 2 BB. A line drive off his pitching hand knocked him out of his last Winston Salem start - haven't heard much since, other than he's "fine" Carson Fulmer: Should be up soon. He's been solid thus far in AAA. I noted after seeing him this spring that his delivery was completely overhauled and simplified, which was his main knock from scouts.
