I couldn't believe it either. I was like, no, that can't be.
I did a double take when I saw him out there. He definitely can be added to all the Jess Settles, Evan Eschmeyer and Jalen Coleman-Lands jokes. Hope he makes it to Madison Square Garden.
It’s kind of crazy that, then Sophomore TeJon Lucas, transferred away from U of I after John Groce was fired. Likely in no small part because a freshman PG named Trent Frazier was coming in and could take his job.
After a 5 year career where he made mores starts than any fighting Illini in history, Trent’s decorated college career is over. TeJon is still playing!
To be fair, Trent is actually older than Te’jon by about a month.
Also, worth noting that TF played a year with Te’jon, but Ayo was coming in and that was likely when Te’jon saw the writing on the wall.
