I don't usually root for Texas to win anything, but if they did, at least we could say we beat the champs. Silver lining.
We were football champs my frosh year by the transitive property, being the lone team to beat Colorado.
Elite 8 is one sorta blue blood game, two first round games, and a good 1990s Orange Bowl game.

I tuned into the last 8 minutes or so of the SDSU/Alabama game.
It felt like I was watching a rec league game. The crowd was dead and nobody was really playing any defense. Alabama was already chucking 3's (I know that's kind of their thing) and appeared to be be without any passion. They were completely broken down, it looked like.

SDSU plays great defense and took them completely out of their game. If they get some good shooting, they are a tough tough out.
