[QUOTE="BangoBongoAndyKauffmann, post: 1635090, member: 748295"] Against better judgment I too, read the report... Major Takeaway... Seems to me Chester is already a better recruiter than he gets credit for...is he not? He‘s clearly not Collins or Antigua at present...with their respective years of connection making... BUT Frazier has had positive recruiting results at VT and KS...programs surely harder to recruit for than us. Sure we need more than just Chester out there on the trail. But I‘d like to think we’re one more solid hire away from being in decent to good shape again. Is my optimism misplaced? MinorTakeaway(s) Underwood might have been blindsided...but last time I checked Whitman handles the $$ I’m sure Whitman listens to Underwood’s suggestions... but uh... Then all the prattling about who coaches the guards and who coaches the wings? Geez, this isn’t special teams in football. A competent basketball coach could and probably should at least assist in other areas. I thought I was a pessimist. This author isn’t the glass is half empty...he’s the glass was always empty.
