ACC going to 20 game conference schedule in 2019

I wish the Big Ten would do the same to alleviate as much as possible scheduling advantages/disadvantages. At the very least, I wouldn't mind seeing a 19 game schedule where each team plays two games a year against its "football" divisional teams, and one game each against the teams from the other "football" division.

I'm sure it helps with SOS, but I think most coaches would prefer the flexibility to customize their schedules more.

I don't like the idea of using divisions for scheduling in hoops. The only reason they exist is the need to have a championship football game. The east is the stronger league in both sports so using it to schedule would weaken our SOS and affect our post season chances.

It was just announced the ACC are going to have their own network. Interesting timing.

I heard Bill the Cat was going to be the network's mascot.
