Would think the AM decision comes fairly soon after today. Wish he had stayed but like the pieces we have coming in.

I wondered the same thing. I think it was just an oversight on Gary Parrish's part.
From what I've seen Plummer should have been top 10 on that list.
It's not an oversight. On another list he was ranked #30. I'm glad we got him and I'm excited to see him playfor us, but for whatever it's worth college basketball media isn't as high on him as this board, and presumably the coaching staff (who have been excellent judges of talent)

Top 30 is pretty good considering we are at what 1300+ now in the portal!

Tbf it was "available transfers" as of a couple weeks ago so didn't include some big names already off the board but yeah, nothing to sneeze at. These lists do universally have AM in the top 5 though, just as a point of comparison

Do these lists include years of eligibility left? If so Adam has three. Plummer 1? Maybe they're looking at overall value?

Its not ? the guy who did that list was David Cobb and he has JCL as #22 and I doubt most people who have watched college basketball think JCL is a impact player

JCL makes a hell of an impact...on the head coach's employment! 😱

Guess it depends on your definition of oversight. Does it mean he forgot about him when he made the list? Does it mean got it wrong? If the former, then highly doubt it. If the latter, then of sure, but just being wrong isn't what I'd typically call an "oversight."

Also JCL shot 40% from 3 last year, so he's not completely worthless no matter how funny it is that he's on track to wrap up his college basketball career in his mid 30s.

Just to clarify, AM has 4 years of eligibility still.

Now appearing in Tampa
When does the AM soap opera end? 34 pages later and we still don’t know anything?

My read after listening to Werner was the door hasn’t been closed, but the staff was not going to wait around for his decision.

I hope that's the tone. I'm honestly getting bored of this. Everything seems to be about him. The recruitment was weird. His commitment ceremony was a lame brand push. We gave him the best combination of PT and winning he could find. He need to lower the temp and entitlement. Would love him back as a third or fourth scoring option and defensive stud but enough of the Kanye complex.

Exactly
Three weeks and AM has no takers?
This feels to me like AM thought if he went in the portal, Illinois would hold his spot If he didn’t like the options. The staff basically called his bluff/let him go and filled the spot. Do we even have a spot or minutes if he felt he wanted to come back? Feels like a precedent has been set.

Miller just turned down the news on Insta about mom and tickets. TIFWIW.
Looks like he may also not be there at the Football game.

AM has not said boo and feelers for his bball services are mute, except for the Boykins play.
Likely AM is not getting the interest or offers he thought he would attract. kcib8130 is likely correct too.

PSA .
Adam miller is unbelievably talented and us Peoria folk hope he stays suitied for the orange and blue..
By the way He is WAY MORE AWARE OF THIS FORUM than you know!
Obviously. These are freshman and sophomore kids we are talking about. Most of them, if not all, do care about what is being talked about them and how much their fans love them and what the latest rumors are. I wouldn't even be surprised if some of them actually put random 'insights' just to have fun.
