Illinois: Ponyta, a potentially decent Pokemon most notable for being actively on fire. That sounds like Illinois, a program that's seen its share of scandal.

Normally I would say F-yeah to being a 3' 3" fire horse, but then I read a little more.
Weaknesses include Ground (as in we can't stop the run game) and Rock (as in we lose more than our fair share of personnel to Rock-Chalk-Jayhawk). The good news is, if we stay away from water we can evolve into a Rapidash. Then we would be really good at running away and setting other things on fire!

I was fully expecting to be really disappointed as Pokemon and Illinois football are 2 of myi favorite things so, naturally it can't go well. I was fully expecting Bidoof or something haha.

I was pleasantly surprised with Ponyta. Purdue certainly got a more withering assignment than we did.
