Can't wait to see whar Miller, Curbelo and Hawkins can do.Gerat question! Here's my take, assuming that all 13 are healthy and able to play.........
* Starters and top reserves (at least 9 guys to start the season, and perhaps 10): They'll play the meaningful minutes in these first 3 games.
* Bottom 3 (Verdonk, Hamlin, Lieb), plus the walk-ons will play only late in 2nd half, as the score allows
While admittedly totally blind without seeing any practices, I rank the 13 as follows:
Always in the core rotation:
1. Ayo
2. Kofi
3. Trent
4. DaMonte
5. Giorgi
6. Miller
7. Curbelo
In competition for meaningful minutes:
8. Hutcherson
9. Grandison
10.Hawkins
Deep Bench:
11. Verdonk
12. Hamlin
13. Lieb
Injuries and Covid will obviously change things a little.
Great list, IMO. Way to break that up. It would be hard to argue any of these. Someone will argue that Grandison (or Hutch or Hawkins) will definitely be a surprise and definitely in the core rotation, but you definitely left that open. Props for a completely blind, totally made-up, but likely accurate opinion (prediction.)Gerat question! Here's my take, assuming that all 13 are healthy and able to play.........

The practice video showed Hamlin with a bandaged hand but playing.Hope so, but I thought Hamlin wasn't ready to go yet. I'd like to see Lieb in action.

Only projection I heard was BBV back mid December. Didn’t hear anything on Jermaine or Hutch. Kind of assumed Jermaine could go if he is practicing (or are there rules on bandages?). Also assumed Hutch was unknown but BU did say he had another appointment. Persistent injuries such as Hutch and BBV have caused me to write them off except for emergencys. Have no specific knowledge.Goode eyes. I missed that but see it now. I think I recall reading that Hamlin's hand is injured but he's expected back sometime mid to late December so he should still be able to contribute this season. I didn't have high offensive / shooting hopes for Hamlin so as long as his hand injury doesn't impact his ability to spell Kofi defensively for brief periods, Hamlin's value to this years team should remain relatively un-impacted by this injury (at least I hope that's the case).
I agree. I think any production from them is a bonus that I'm not counting on. I thought I heard that Hamlin was practicing, but not back in full. We will know in a couple days!!
