Update- Ayo Dosunmu is a unanimous first-team All-Big Ten selection Kofi Cockburn also earned first-team All-Big Ten accolades This marks the first time in 15 years that Illinois has two players on the All-Big Ten first team, since Dee Brown and James Augustine in 2006 Andre Curbelo took home a pair of awards, named the Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year and earning a spot on the Big Ten All-Freshman Team Trent Frazier has been recognized for his relentless effort on both ends of the court, earning a spot on the Big Ten All-Defensive Team while also earning honorable mention All-Big Ten honors https://fightingillini.com/news/2021/3/9/mens-basketball-four-illini-collect-big-ten-awards.aspx ---------------------------------------------------------------- Predictions? I think Ayo (unanimous) and Kofi both end up first team (though second team wouldn't be a shock for Kofi) with Curbelo on the freshman team and Trent all defense. I think Garza will still end up with player of the year. Missing those 3 games was tough for Ayo, and I think how well our team performed without him will not help his case either. Rest of the first team - Dickinson, Trevion Williams, GARZA FOY - Dickinson COY - Howard
