I have always been a Big Ten fan in football and basketball but I have finally realized something that others have been saying for a long time. The so-called powerhouses in Michigan and Ohio State are only powerhouses in the Big. They beat up on the other teams and all the cupcakes in the non conference preseason. When they get to the bowl games or the fake National Championship games that is truly decided by a group of men who think they know it all. The Big 2 lose time and time again! Michigan has lost 6 straight bowl games. Was Michigan or OSU really top 4 teams? I have my doubts. Oh Michigan will say they were robbed of that touchdown but both teams generally get the benefit of all close calls. Michigan won't say they got the benefit of 2 non calls for pass interference when the defender clearly was holding the arm of the receiver and never let it go. If you remember the same thing happened against the Illini at Micvhigan that turned the game around in Michigan's favor. Both teams will whine and cry but I don't think either of them were in the top 6.
