For the first time this season, this is the first week on a Monday morning that every single bowl projections I clicked into included the Illini!

I'm dreaming of a Detroit Christmas!

Beat Iowa! Beat Northwestern!

If I could pick, I would want the Music City Bowl.

Given we are currently 5-5 that game is probably our ceiling. Let's win the final two!

Based on Big 10 rules, we are ineligible for the Reliaquest Bowl and Iowa is ineligible for the Music City Bowl. Rose and Citrus are out of reach.

No thank you to Detroit. Pinstripe is not very appealing to me either.

I think we would have a strong Illinois contingent if we were selected to go to Nashville.

Don't forget about the draw we would be for Vegas. Even at 7-5, Music City Bowl might be out of reach, IMO.

I'll go to anyplace that's warm in December/January. I likely will not go to NYC even tho that's the closest, and I definitely won't go to Detroit.

Of all the potential matchups being mentioned, Iowa State is the most intriguing from a fandom and program perspective.
