They were all pass rushers... coaches didnt think of putting in some run stuffers.

I have to believe the emphasis to try to create negative plays, at the detriment of containing the run, came from the coaches' directives, and was not simply the coaches playing "pass rushers." It was a pet peeve of mine all year as the ends would run themselves out of 90*% of the running plays.

I remember Lovie using his DT's to disrupt the offense with the Bears, but did he use the DE's this way too? And can we expect the DE's to be so aggressive going forward?

I have to believe the vast majority of the problems were lack of players and talent. We didn't have a run stopper in the bench just waiting to go into the game.
