I think Ohio State will be selected as well. But the winning-their-conference thing means nothing to me. The committee set a precedent last year by ignoring PSU and selecting Ohio State instead. So, they need to stick with that and pick the BEST team -- regardless of whether they won their conference. The difficult thing for Alabama is that they really haven't looked like Alabama as of late. they are really beat up on the defensive side of the ball. That, more so than the conference champion thing, is going to cost them, IMO. I'm just not that impressed with Ohio State as a top-4 team. The manner in which they lost to Iowa is a disqualifier, in my book. Oklahoma dominated them. They only beat PSU by 1 -- at home. They struggled with Michigan. And they struggled with a Wisconsin team that didn't play anybody all year. When you look at the 4 big winners yesterday, Ohio State was the team that clearly didn't appear to belong with the other 3. Clemson is going to smoke them.
