Rumor has it that Tottenham have finally agreed a fee with Citeh for the transfer of Harry Kane. I would assume Spurs will attempt to spend some of the funds before the move is officially announced.

Quick note regarding NBC's coverage plans this season. Any matches airing live on NBC will also air live on Peacock. That's the key part though. It's just those matches airing over the air on NBC. If the matches air on NBCSN or one of the other NBC networks and you are wanting to stream it, you'll have to have a cable or satellite subscription and watch it online through NBC Sports Live or on the NBC Sports app.

As bad as Everton looked in the first half, they looked the complete opposite in the 2nd half, defeating Southampton 3:1. Especially encouraging result when you consider that 5 players, including James, were out due to covid issues. Gonna be interested to see how some of their new signings perform as the season goes along.

Kane staying at Spurs...at least until the January transfer window. Man City thought they could force a deal. Unfortunately, they forgot that they were negotiating with Daniel Levy.

Cristiano Ronaldo's return match with Manchester United this weekend vs. Newcastle United won't air on broadcast TV in the UK due to the 3 PM blackout rule in the UK: https://www.espn.com/soccer/blog-th...ted-return-wont-be-shown-on-live-tv-in-the-uk

Since the start times for the matches were set weeks ago, it's too late to move the match from the 3PM kickoff time it has been set for.

Interestingly enough that match will air on broadcast TV here in the states on the USA Network.

Arsenal has two 1-0 wins over teams that have a combined 0 wins on the season and will likely be relegated. That doesn't strike much fear into anyone at this point.
My reply was WRT the Spurs. Gunners have a loooong way to go.

TBF - the Palace result was a product of poor poor reffing and Spurs playing without several starters. Zaha should have been sent off for throwing a punch (didn't land) and then putting his hands around the throat of Tanganga. Both received yellows and then Tanganga was shown a second yellow moments later for a soft challenge. Spurs then played the last 35 minutes with 10 men.

How this isn't red is beyond me:

If you watched yesterday's match w/ Chelsea, Spurs owned the first half but couldn't finish. Chelsea scored in the 2nd half on a corner and a deflection that sent the keeper the wrong way. Until then, both teams were having chances.
