Yes. Season long, daily, and regular bets.Any fantasy footballers in here?
I was wise enough to start Marvin, but here is a question, did you have Kamara and his 4 tdās on your bench? I did.Marvin Harrison Jr scored 27 points on my benchā¦ask me anything
No. I was going back and forth all week on it and I decided to go with a safe floor lineup of Bijan, Mason, Monty, Nico, and Godwin and benched MHJ.I was wise enough to start Marvin, but here is a question, did you have Kamara and his 4 tdās on your bench? I did.
I have to hold off Saquon tonight. He scores 23 and that is curtains for me.
Well Josh Allen kind of ruined the whole week for me in both leagues, if that makes anyone feel any better.
Is CMC worth trading for?
It's a 12-team 0.5 PPR redraft league. My team is:Absolutely, even if you know you're gonna be without him for a few more weeks. Depending on the type of league you're in, his owner may want quite a boatload in return.
I know someone that's in a public league that just recently got offered CMC and Kupp for Isaiah Likely, Christian Kirk, and Alec Pierce.
It's a 12-team 0.5 PPR redraft league. My team is:
QB: Mahomes
RB: Bijan
RB: Mason (fortuitously drafted him 15th round)
WR: Collins
WR: MHJ
TE: Goedert
FLEX: Godwin
DST: Dallas
K: Aubrey
Bench
- Jayen Reed
- Jaylen Wright
- Mostert
- Montgomery
- Likely
- Chase Brown
- Tampa Bay DST
I like my team and I don't want to do too much to disrupt it. I have good starters and decent depth. I imagine CMC owner will want a haul because his team is not great. What would you offer if you would offer anything?
Sorry I forgot to include, I also have Jayden Daniels as a backup QB. Someone dropped him right before week 1 and I got him for $2!I'd take a look at what position you see as a position of strength at this point and go from there. RB looks pretty good as is. I'm sure the CMC owner will counter offer you whatever you decide.
Couple other things I noticed:
-Unless I'm seeing things, you only have one QB. No matter what size the league, you always need a backup QB.
-You don't need to carry two defenses. If you do, you're basically just wasting a spot on your roster since you can only start one each week. And with there being no truly dominant defense nowadays, I will typically stream a defense every week. That means, I'll go by matchup each week and just pick up a defense off the waiver wire. Rarely will I keep the same defense for multiple weeks. Early on this season I have but that's because I picked up the Jets defense prior to last week's game in Tennessee, started them last week, and then started them again this week since they were playing New England. I'll keep them and start them again next week since they'll be playing Denver.
Also I'm carrying 2 defenses this week because normally I run Dallas DST but Tampa has a better matchup and I don't want to drop Dallas (not a Cowboys fan, just a philosophical thing I have with fantasy DST's). Also my league tends to hold defenses. Some will roster 2 occasionally 3, so trying to stream defenses every week can get you in trouble because what ends up happening is only the crappy defenses are left available to pick up.
CMC owner is weak at RB - he is starting Javonte and Eckler. I don't think he'll do CMC for Montgomery straight up. I was thinking of offering something like Godwin/Nico Collins and Montgomery for Rashee Rice and CMC.
Yeah after thinking on it last night I was thinking of either offering Montgomery straight up or Montgomery and MostertYeah, in a 12 team league, it's really dumb for those other owners to be carrying 2, much less 3 defenses. I'd be really curious as to hear some of their reasonings for that.
I'd try and do CMC straight up for Montgomery and see if the other owner bites. If not, then counter offer one of the other offers you mention. I did a straight one-for-one deal in a dynasty league I'm in. Traded Jonathan Taylor for Caleb Williams. I know Caleb hasn't looked good early on but I felt comfortable doing that trade since I had Bijan, Kyren Williams, and Chase Brown still at RB.
