If you're referring to me I'm right here. Here I thought you were suffering so much, and looking forward to us losing to NW, that you'd take my advice and just cease watching. I see you've changed your mind, which is fine, but please get a grip on what the word tragedy means. A horse bleep performance by a basketball team that you may or may not root for doesn't qualify. Ask the family and friends of our servicemen lost at sea right now.

When I said "can't wait" it was obviously total sarcasm. However, it's definitely looking like NW will embarrass the Illini. I'm more than sure, I know what the definition of tragedy means. Clearly an exaggeration, but Dakich is just bad. He's not even a good commentator. He spends more time talking about himself, and his family than he does the game...every game.

I'd argue that the Weber ending was lower---but there's a lot of time left (for better or worse) in this season to hit a depth unseen.

The team competed pretty hard in the end of the Weber tenure. This team doesn't even seem to care. How in the world did they beat Purdue. Injuries aside Groce isn't getting through to anyone. It seems like they have quit on him. He really needed to hit a few homeruns early recruiting and he struck out everytime going after PG's.

There have been a lot of injuries this year, but this team is awful and the program is in a horrible place. Leron Black and Tracy Abrams wouldn't make that much of a difference.

They've quit on Groce, just like they did last year. Wasn't one of his key attributes supposed to be his motivating? Gonna be great to see the post game bus tossing we saw after the Nebraska game again, from our players coach.

A few more of these, and I would not object to doing something radical, like throwing in the towel, and dimissing the staff, or at least some of them. Bring in someone to coach the rest of the season. Hell, Deebeing inexperienced couldn't do worse.

Motivating is one thing, but he apparently doesn't know how to drop the hammer on these kids when it's needed.

I'm not sure if that's the case, but they certainly don't have the depth of talent that Indiana does, that's for certain.
