The amount of time he had to hold for that route to develop seemed way too long, like there should have been another WR to check down to.

We were wildly unprepared for this game, that doesn't change based on this false comeback. This is on the coordinators. Realistically the season now starts in West Lafayette on September 30, we'll be 2-2 (no we aren't beating Penn State). Take the next three weeks to figure out the team and plan for the rest of the season.
