The most impressive part of this game was not just the energy change....which we all understand. It was that for the first time in the BU era, in spite of this team excelling from the arc as a top 10 shooting team from 3, NW went to zone and the Illini appeared they were playing against a 17 man defense and required to shoot from 30 Ft. plus. A disaster. Then comes the second half, same players, same zone, and all of a sudden the ball goes to the middle, NW collapes, baseline player drives for layup, ball goes out to shooters who bury shots, and Kofi is gets open. Who would have thought of such and idea? Has it ever been done before? Well, only by every good coach and team for about 70-80 years, and it works every time. And this team is built for play against the zone, but the ball HAS TO GO TO THE MIDDLE OF THE ZONE FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a unique way to win a game.... Save ALL your energy for the second half!
This disparity makes it look like they set up folding chairs on one end and said 'see you next half'.
