I wish we would be afraid to run slants or into the middle of the field in general. Our passes, long or short, always go to the sideline. That is distance the ball is traveling that doesn't help us get down the field. Look at every Nebraska throw tonight. It was always like 10 yards up the field right in the middle. Why can't we do that, even if its dump downs to the RB? I'm just sick of seeing other teams carve up the field when we act like its an impossible task.
