Alabama seems to be a popular pick due to their explosive offense.

Anyone think SDSU has a chance? I do not.

Give me Clemson in an upset, UCONN to cover, and Bama.

I had SDSU winning this game in my original bracket, I'm not confident.

Also, I had Alabama in the final 4. I don't love that either.

I also had Alabama in the F4 in one of my brackets and don't feel very confident in that pick after watching their garbage-fest against GCU, but having a dude like Sears can go a long way in the tourney.

SDSU never and still doesn’t have a chance against UConn IMO.

I don’t love this Bama team, but if you liked them enough to pick them for a F4 run pre-tourney, when they were playing like complete a$$, you should feel way better about that pick now that they’ve done well in the first two rounds.

I’m not sold on UNC or Arizona. I think Alabama pulls the upset and the Wildcats escape.

I am NOT getting cocky about a win vs. Iowa State ... while I believe our Illini can pull it out, ISU is very good and I am nervous as hell for this one. With that said...

I will be rooting my heart out for SDSU today. With no disrespect meant to SDSU, it is my opinion that them taking out UConn in a somewhat fluke victory multiplies our (and Iowa State's) chance to make a Final four about tenfold. I believe UConn is that good.

If we are fortunate enough to win tonight and face UConn on Saturday, I will be so extremely pleased with this season that I will simply try to enjoy every second until Saturday's game is over. I will treat Saturday as playing with house money, and I will go in with no expectations and just hope. However, if we win tonight and face SDSU Saturday ... I will seriously start dreaming of a sixth Final Four for this program and entertain flights to Arizona...

If that actually happens tonight (Illini and SDSU win), I will probably pull the trigger on Final 4 tix. I've been kicking it around since I live in Phoenix/Scottsdale, but with UConn out there, I haven't felt comfortable taking the chance on having to resell them. It would be a dream come true to be able to drive to an Illini Final Four game, and probably a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Listening to Matt Painter today on what he considers a successful season. He said that it is successful only if it is his best season yet. Although he has had disappointments in the NCAA Tourney, I like his mindset. Under these parameters, this season has been a success for BU.

No doubt! 2021 had a BTT banner and a #1 seed, pretty great. 2022 had a regular season championship banner (more prestigious than the BTT, if we are being honest). However, having a BTT banner AND (at least!!) at Sweet Sixteen is easily Brad's best effort here ... and it corresponds to our fan base in general being the happiest it has been since this time in 2005.

I have watched at least 15 games of Boswell @ az and I just don't get all the excitement regarding his play.........seems slow and has an average motor.....maybe I've missed the games where he shows out , but I won't lose any sleep if it doesn't come to pass with him in an Illini uni.....JMHO.......and yes I know he is very young (19-20).....maybe should of went to prep school for a year........

it's prolly just me as my nerves are getting grated with a bad headache........
