Surprised no one has mentioned the Miami/Steele vs Akron/Groce matchup in the MAC Championship game going on right now.... Miami/Steele has the 11 pt advantage at the moment.

Obviously a miss but who is to say if Dain wanted to start and Booth was OK as a role player....there's so much that goes into all of this now.

But obviously Dain would have helped us way more than Booth. Just easy to pick apart the roster mistakes in retrospect

I do feel better about our loss for some reason with Michigan beating Maryland and dominating the boards. Largely because we know we can beat Michigan which means Maryland isn’t just a class above everyone as I assumed yesterday. We just played poorly with no effort and they were unconscious from three

Gives me a little more hope we can respond like we did after the Duke game- we need Morez to be a monster on the boards again and Tomi to stay out of foul trouble

Illinois should've started the game with both bigs in! Should've played match ups! That's why we lost last time because Morez was double teamed. And we were under sized. Came out with the same nonsense this game. Same results. We would've done just like Michigan! Competed. But we got played with like we were little kids against their big brothers.

Not that Illinois is all that good this season, but Louisville does not impress me. Basically 2-3 good players with 1 that can get hot but loves hero ball.

Aside from the 1a championship, the ihsa boys basketball playoff has been much better than the football championships. Another good one between Benet and Warren. Biggest gripe I’ve heard is about the crowds.
