Weston McKinnie's violation of team policy as it relates to covid protocol must have been pretty bad. Berhalter has already had him sent back to Italy to rejoin Juventus. Jackson Yueill will take McKinnie's place on the roster for Wednesday's match vs. Honduras.

Sergino Dest has also been ruled out for Wednesday's match after suffering an ankle sprain last night.

Story out today that McKinnie was sent home for two separate reasons. First reason was that he spent a night outside the team's covid bubble in Nashville. Then on a different night he brought an unauthorized individual back inside the bubble to his hotel room.

The irony of all this is that McKinnie told his teammates following the El Salvador game that there needed to be more accountability within the U.S. team

After tonight's match, here's how the CONCACAF table looks after the first round of matches:

Mexico 7
Canada 5
USA 5
Panama 5
Costa Rica 2
Honduras 2
El Salvador 2
Jamaica 1

Next round of U.S. matches next month include a home match vs. Jamaica in Austin, an away match at Panama, and a home match vs. Costa Rica in Columbus.

Fun match to watch. Did not even know that my satellite package had Universo until last night.
Very excited for Pepi to step into the void at striker, oh yeah, and this happened.....

I actually subscribed to Paramount+ so I could watch the USMNT matches. They have two different packages. One for $4.99 and another for $9.99.

Had a little bit of a streaming issue in the 2nd half but it worked fine otherwise.

Paramount+ also has the US rights to the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League matches. I got their ad-free tier 1/2 off deal back in March. $50 for 12 months isn't too bad.

Exactly. I also have Peacock to watch Everton and got a deal when I subscribed to that. But that was more because I already subscribed to WWE Network and got a deal on it when all the WWE Network stuff in the U.S. switched over to Peacock.

I get Peacock free with my Xfinity internet. Many people don't know about this perk. Even if you never use it, Xfinity internet customers can request a free Flex device (similar to a Roku) and it will give them access to free Peacock Premium.
