Well, considering Antigua is making $900K/year (is that correct?), I can see him being a little upset.
Yes....That is why I was being ironical.....I understand that market value is a real thing, and if the market says that you are worth more than you are getting, then you should try to get it. My tongue in cheek remark was more aimed at what the market values these guys being worth, and making a statement that I would do the job for $400K per year. (Disclaimer: I don't have the knowledge base, skills or connections to do what TA does, just sayin')

Just so we're using the right numbers: for the 23-24 school year:

Chester Frazier's salary was $551,250

Tim Anderson's salary was $551,250

Geoff Alexander's salary was $367,500

Zach Hamer's salary was $190,026

Tyler Underwood's salary was $115,000

Yep, Frazier left, for a pay raise of... $24k. Although when you do the math between Orlando's final salary before leaving for Kentucky and the salaries Chester and Tim earned last year, you'll notice that the annual pay raise rate at U of I for assistant coaches of their level has been around $25k a year, so I don't think he actually got a pay raise compared to what he would've earned this upcoming season.

Man, the absolute damage I could do with an annual salary of $550k in CU would he alarming. Anywhere really, you should see what I pull off now in DuPage county. I would be a major tent pole in the CU economy. Just stay Tim, be patient. Bird in hand!

Notes from Lindy's 24-25 on Indiana & Big Ten - from Inside The Hall

On Indiana: “Nobody in the Big Ten has more talent – it’s just a matter of putting the pieces together.”

Not gonna happen.

Obligatory: Unfortunately, the games aren't played on paper.

Reading between the lines seems TA departure is pretty much confirmed, because no mention of him getting a raise/contract extension.
(Plus raises for a few other #Illini hoops assistants/staffers). ??? Or are you assuming that because he wasn't mentioned by name?
