The whole game was pretty awful when you break it down. That said, this is why football is the ultimate team sport in my eyes. Some days your QB will be on, some days he won't. Some days everything will flow in the running game, some days it'll be like running into a brick wall. Some days everything will click defensively, some days your guys just won't have it. Some days your playcaller will be in an unflappable rhythm, almost as if every call is the perfect design for that down and distance and some days it'll be as if they've never called a game before. Somehow you have to find a way to pull the entire team together enough as a group to overcome the bad days in order to achieve victory. It's an amazing game. Saturday, our coaches called an awful football game from top to bottom but it doesn't mean they're idiots who have called the entirety of the season in that manner. They just had a rough day and it was up to our kids to make it happen themselves. I'm proud to say they did. To the bold portion, pure arm strength doesn't have much to do with the specific outside hash throws that Brandon has struggled with for the majority of the season. It's about the design of the throw and the way Brandon attempts to deliver it mechanically. Rod needs to get those out of his playbook. They're not working and they're dangerous.
