Was courtside for this one, and what a treat to see them hang in to the end, before Ayo gets a cold-blooded kill on the road. Didn't look good when he tried to set it up, but man, what a gritty play. UM did not impress me. They were ok, but nothing like the Jon Beilein teams. They had ZERO assists at halftime, at least the 5 guys on the floor. Both teams had good plays and bad ones, but Illinois fought harder. Random thoughts: Very tightly called game. Not impressed with some of the light contact stuff they called. Da Monte gave us several extra possessions. Kofi is a good defender. Pretty smart about timing his blocks, and waiting for smaller guys to actually get up in the air. Trent in foul trouble was tough. He's a guy that steadies the team, and they had to go stretches where he simply wasn't available. Feliz of course, fills in well. Tevian was not given much of a role, which is what I expected. Hope he wants to be a part of this team, but he has to earn coach's trust. Ayo, well, everyone seems to have noticed his performance, so no need to comment ;) Really happy for everyone. Fun to see us in the top-25 scoreboard
