I was super critical of our MSU performance but you gots to admit we really addressed some glaring issues and looked better tonight. It really looked like each person attempted to address a weakness tonight. Damonte shooting a bit more and driving to the basket (didn't really finish after driving but baby steps). Miller dropping some threes AND taking it to the rim more that a couple times. Kofi was Kofi - kept his composure and made some free throws! Nice job by the big man. Curbello had a game. He still made a couple typical Curbello mistakes but I thought he was really trying to turn it down a notch and play more controlled, more disciplined ball. Curb is going to be dangerous next year; anyone calling him a liability - man I don't see it. Curbello is all upside. Trent had yet another game. Georgi looked strong at times off the bench. They played a little more loose like I was hoping to see. Well done to all of them. Really the only bad news was we continue to react when baited into those technicals. We have to smile and walk away and take the foul shots; don't let them get in our heads. Even the ref's improved and wouldn't let Nebraska beat up Kofi inside. Finally had fun watching what was a fairly close game. Felt bad for Ayo - get better soon man, but I was impressed to see how everyone on the team responded and stepped up in his absence. Nice job. Freshmen looked great tonight.
