It includes some tournaments and stuff but yeah they play pretty much 2-3 games every weekend into summer. It's a good time. If you're still on or near campus you should check out a game. It was free.99 back in the day don't know of it still is and we are an exciting team this year.

Games were still free the last time that they were open to the public. The DIA had announced that they were going to start selling tickets but then covid hit. Not sure what the plan will be going forward.

While there, check out the softball girls. Strong pitching this year. Hitting is a work in progress and fielding a little shaky but good pitching covers up a lot in softball.

They have to learn to utilize their speed to manufacture runs- j O, Mark and Shri- forget his name, and Peruvian or player from Spain I believe will develop with the starters. But speed to just steal a base/ they need to score.

Was actually able to watch/have this up on my phone while I did chores today and they were definitely trying to steal way more compared to Saturday (only got to follow Friday on Twitter). Though that is likely due to it getting away from us early on Saturday. Once we got up by 3 we didn't outright steal, but the hit and run definitely manufactured some stress on the defense without the steal.

Definitely way more of a small ball team if our pitching can come around we might be in a good spot for B1G play.

Haven't found anything about illness, grades, or anything else. Maybe just some guys that weren't quite ready for the series or potential red shirts that we needed to check some of the more senior players to see if we needed them or not.
