I’d bet money we are in Obanor’s top 4.

Gotta be. Just like Kofi and Antigua, his lead recruiter is now at TTU. I still think that from a basketball standpoint, Illinois is the best option. However, I'm biased. So Tech is still leading I assume?

Match's up perfectly with our Texas pipeline. Also, FWIW, he is from Houston.
Again. If you have a name of another Chicago 2023 recruit that sturdy might have been alluding to without naming I’m all earsyeah 2023 is loaded with local talent. Kylan Boswell is another originally from Champaign that ESPN has in the top 25. Doubt he's connected to TA tho but could be
Wanna take bets on his favorite color?
We made the cut for Obanor... with three southern schools
The real 4D chess of this is that obanor is better than Garcia, but no blue bloods competing with us this time around4D chess by BU. He knows we never land a recruit we and "in the lead" for. Exciting times.
Obanor may be better now, but Garcia will be a sophomore while Obanor will be a RS Senior (with 2 years of eligibility I believe due to this past season not counting). The real 4D chess of this is that obanor is better than Garcia, but no blue bloods competing with us this time around
True, but he's going to be a very hard pull over Tech. The real 4D chess of this is that obanor is better than Garcia, but no blue bloods competing with us this time around
I was hearing garcia was hoping to go pro after one year anyway, but obviously that could always fall through.Obanor may be better now, but Garcia will be a sophomore while Obanor will be a RS Senior (with 2 years of eligibility I believe due to this past season not counting).
I think every college player hopes for that, most of the time it's wishful thinking. If his game fits the current NBA style and he develops at UNC, you never know.I was hearing garcia was hoping to go pro after one year anyway, but obviously that could always fall through.
Why’s that?True, but he's going to be a very hard pull over Tech.
So was MillerI was hearing garcia was hoping to go pro after one year anyway, but obviously that could always fall through.
And we only got him for a year.So was Miller
Maybe the recruiter means something, but a quick google search says Houston is 580 miles and a 7.5 hour drive to Lubbock. Chicago to Cairo, il. is 375 miles and a 5 hour drive, per google. Houston is light years away from Lubbock in numerous ways. I live in Texas, it is big. Also, FWIW, he is from Houston.
He's from Houston, just think he'll stay in Texas or OK. I think we have the best hoops situation, but I also think it's going to be a very hard pull. Bama is no slouch either. Why’s that?
Okay so it’s speculation based on home town? Fair enoughHe's from Houston, just think he'll stay in Texas or OK. I think we have the best hoops situation, but I also think it's going to be a very hard pull. Bama is no slouch either.
Bama not recruiting Obanor per Andrew Slater
Soo.......they're not recruiting him...but they made his final 4.......well isn't that specialBama not recruiting Obanor per Andrew Slater
