I’ll give you it might be Asa, but I wouldn’t call Joliet or Bradley part of chicago. Doubt either have much TA connection.
I don’t know much of anything about insiders. But if anybody, insider or not, says “I’ve spoken with the family of a 2023 recruit that Illinois is in good standing with and his family is very excited about TA” I presume he’s not just lying about it. Whether they are being honest or not who knows, but I doubt that he would make that up.

The speed with which he went from top 10 to top 4 makes me think he already has decided where he's going and this is all just to build anticipation. Would love to be wrong but something tells me we're also just a shill in this process -- including Illinois in your top X is a good way to make sure a rabid Twitter fan base is liking and sharing your posts.

Yeah the whole thing smells contrived. Tipton is a Bama student. Musselman recruited him hard out of HS. TT seems like a lock (LOL).. If he comes to C/U it may be the biggest upset of all time.. The guy is really good though. Played Liddell and Castelton even up head to head in the dance. No visit to C/U is fairly telling. Oh Sydney Curry your table may be getting ready.
The particular reference mentioned that they liked that the new hire was from Chicago. JJ is from the city as well
